Takis Gavrilis & Partners Design Group was entrusted with the design regarding the completion works of the National Stadium of Chalkida, the main sports center of the city, originally built on a plot of 24.360m2.
The design refers to the construction of two new tier sections on the east and west sides of the stadium with a capacity of 6700 spectators, under which, training rooms and auxiliary spaces were also developed for the use of the athletes.
Moreover, the design also suggests the construction of two new buildings behind the west side tiers of the stadium to be used from press, administration, sports officers and VIPs. These two buildings will be independent from the rest of the sports center and will provide easy access to the tiers as well as to the underground parking garage of 50 cars capacity.
