This project was concerned with the expansion of the operating department of two theaters already in operation into a complete six-treater unit with all the necessary accessories, equipment and support functions. The department will cover the entire third floor on one of the buildings of the complex, which until now has been unoccupied.
In addition, within the scope of the contract twenty fully equipped ICU beds in the Intensive and Special Care Units will be housed on the 2nd floor of the same building. Furthermore, a group of staff lockers and restrooms are located on the second floor and serve the personnel of the second, third floor and maternity units of the hospital.
The electromechanical installations located on both the second and third floors have been renovated with the use of modern techniques of ventilation in the operation rooms. Finally, cooling towers and related installations are located in the open space near the building in question.
