Takis Gavrilis & Partners Design Group

This project was concerned with the Post- Olympic use of the 2004 Olympic Sailing Center in Agios Kosmas (Marina) comprising a total area of 425.000m2. The aim of the design was to upgrade the marina and its facilities in a way that will be a landmark of the local community.
New facilities are to include:
– Shopping Center
– Cultural and Recreational Areas
– Yacht Club including a gym and a Spa Center
– Yacht Maintenance Area & Technical Support Center
– Sport Facilities
– Indoor and outdoor Parking Stations

According to the design, the total floor area of the new facilities will be 62.585m2

Finally, the redevelopment of the landscape of the Marina is also another important aspect of the design proposal as it will not only connect the different zones of the Marina but will also include extended green areas, theme parks, foot walks and much more.
