Takis Gavrlis & Partners Design Group undertook the design project for the following Train Stations:

“Diminio, Lykoporia, Lygia, Platanos, Diakopto, Eliki, Rododafni, Selianitika, Kamares, Psathopyrgos, Arachovitika, Agios Vassileios, Rio, Akrata and Aigio.

All of the aforementioned stations include:
– Two platforms of 200-300m long and 5-6m wide, depending on station and on its specification. Part of every platform will be covered by a metallic shelter of 50m long. Specifically, the station of Aigio will include three platforms of 300m long and 6.70m wide as well as shelters of 100m long.
– An underpass running below the railway tracks, connecting the platforms, which can be reached by the use of staircases and elevators.
– Customer Service areas including ticket counters and waiting areas
– Electro mechanical Services areas according to every station’s requirements

The project also includes the landscape design of every station including parking spots, green zones and easy access ways to platforms for disabled persons. Finally, the stations of Akrata and Aigio will also include a specialised building for the more effective servicing of passengers, which will include waiting rooms, refreshments kiosks and administration offices.
