Design of The New Meat Market in Thessaloniki

The project deals with the design of a modern Meat Market Center, which during the first stage of operation will house 24 bulk-byuing meat stands along with its secondary functions which include:

– Veterinary Service
– First Aid and Safety Services
– Administration Offices

The Meat Market Center comprises 6.800m2 of floor space and is housed within a tile roofed building with an elevated (by 1.20m) ground floor for the more effective loading/unloading of trucks.
The internal space of the Market is divided by a centrally placed corridor into two zones each comprising 12 stands. Lastly, the Center includes a restaurant, truck station, services rooms and landscape redevelopment including an outdoor parking lot.
