The goal of this project was to transform a very old and heavily damaged building to a modern day multi-cultural center. Old roofs to be demolished and rebuild as well as metallic stuctures while several additions were needed to ensure the building’s structural capabilities. All services were also reinstalled and also the interior was restored to its original state.
The master plan of this project dictated that the building would be divided into two parts but with easy access from one to another. Inside the building there is a library, multipurpose and recreational areas as well as a restaurant. Services are located in the basement of the building having independent outdoor access points.
Moreover, design incorporated easy access to the building for disabled people while special equipment is in use for people with vision problems
