Takis Gavrilis & Partners Design Team undertook the design project regarding the refurbishment and upgrading of the 2nd floor area of the Outpatient Department of 251 General Air Force Hospital. The second floor now houses all Dental Department Specialities, the necessary support functions and common use areas.
The design ensured that the departments that are frequently cooperating were placed adjacent to each other and that the treatment rooms have the same standard layout. Every Specialty Unit has its own entrance as well as a waiting-secretarial area separated by the treatment areas in order to provide comfort and privacy to patients.Finally, the common use areas for all the units, both for staff and patients are centrally located.
